The ZEK is a Swiss information centre where credit information arising from the credit and leasing activities of natural or legal persons remains recorded. It therefore contains indications, positive or negative, on those interested in credits, leasings and credit cards, as well as their respective commitments.
As soon as you apply for credit or start using a credit card, a history is created at the ZEK information centre in the form of codes. Codes can be positive or negative, and their length of enrolment varies.
This register is therefore widely used by financial institutions to verify your solvency and thus prevent over-indebtedness.
Once a year, you have the right to request a free ZEK extract to view the codes in your file and their authors.
The order can be made online or by mail via the link.
